Information is like life

Published by cookiecrum at 12:38 pm under family views Edit This

Information is like life. How so you say?

Well Life is filled with roads to choose, without the correct information we can get lost. Sometimes what we think as good information, can just as quickly turn into bad.

Today my daughter had a problem with her child on the school bus. Another child decided she would kiss my Granddaughter on the lips.

My Granddaughter did not like that and tried to tell the bus driver. The bus driver being just a sub, did nothing. There are so many ways to handle this situation, but from the child’s eyes I am sure she just saw it as showing affection for another person. Now the other problem is, that this same child has done this before, to my Granddaughter, and was told by the normal bus driver to please stop it.

So what is the best way to handle this?

If this was me, I would set up a meeting with the principal, the 2 bus drivers and the parents of the said child. This may be just a simple show of affection by a child,or it can be a cover for things hidden. Meeting the parents you should be able to see just where this child is coming from.

1. If the parents do not even take the time to show up for the meeting, my guess is that the said child is lacking parental love and guidance, thus the child is reaching out in the only way they know how for some affection of any kind.

2.If the parents show up and are very argumentative, instead of trying to be understanding. There are a lot of family problems that need to be addressed quickly before the said child is driven to other measures of finding the affectation they are lacking.

3. If the parents show up for the meeting and are willing to talk,my guess is this is just a very loving child, who hasn’t quite learned yet that it is not OK to kiss someone on the mouth that is not a family member, and they just need to be guided by loving parents.

Children are like human sponges, they soak in everything around them. They see people on Television all the time kissing, and if there is not good adult supervision, sometimes they see more than that. The world is filled with so many parents who have given up on doing there jobs as parents. They let there children do whatever they want, with no consequences for there actions. Because of this our society has also become a society of blame the other person.

Children need continuous guidance, otherwise they are overfilled with too much information, and there brains cannot handle it. Parents it is up to you to be there information filter.

If we all as good parents get back to being our children’s filters, maybe the future will look brighter.

Children learn what they see, show them the right path, and they will follow it throughout there whole life.
